Rewilding the Fertile Crescent
Restoring the Atlantic Rainforest
Dear visitor,
Welcome to my website. You may have heard of me, or this may be your first wondering to my world. I am here to assist and prepare us to move through our cataclysmic era with as much grace as possible. I am holding a vision for a healed and rewilded Fertile Crescent, where I am native to, and a restored rainforest in the West Coast of Scotland where I am becoming indigenous. I am a practical dreamer. While it appears that I am dreaming of something impossible, I am moving with achievable steps towards these goals. Fortunately I am not the only one dreaming of a more beautiful, more fertile world. I am honoured for the companions, friends, teachers, and students along my path. And you dear reader, I hope you will find a thread of inspiration and connection on this site that will enliven your path. My husband, Alan Watson Featherstone has been advocating for a common task, a common purpose uniting all of us in the 21st century, in this time of climate crisis. He calls this common task Restoring our Earth. What if we indeed make this our first priority as related people, past the UN 17 points of sustainable development goals? What if we each found our way to connect with mother Gaia and to our own unique genius to contribute to restoring our planet? I am aware that we appear to be living in a time when the divide between governments and their people, and factions of people is ever wider. Amy Goodman and Denis Moynihan write in their report from Baku COP 29 (Conference of Parties 29th year) : “Global petroleum production and consumption are at an all-time high, while 2024 is set to be the hottest year on record, trumping last year’s record heat. Science tells us that the worst impacts of the climate emergency still can be avoided, if urgent and ambitious action is taken.” What are your urgent and ambitious actions, for your life, for our world? Here is a list of a few of my ambitious actions, for me, for our world:

there is no road ahead
we make the road as we go the clue of the beginning is more often not discovered until near the end maybe the journey is not so much a journey ahead but a journey into presence the furthest place on earth is the journey into the presence of the person nearest to you.
