Earth Healer, Glass Artist, Storyteller

Founder of Trees for Hope
Rewilding the Fertile Crescent
Restoring the Atlantic Rainforest

Dear visitor,

Welcome to my website.  You may have heard of me, or this may be your first wondering to my world.  I am here to assist and prepare us to move through our cataclysmic era with as much grace as possible.

I am holding a vision for a healed and rewilded Fertile Crescent, where I am native to, and a restored rainforest in the West Coast of Scotland where I am becoming indigenous.  I am a practical dreamer.  While it appears that I am dreaming of something impossible, I am moving with achievable steps towards these goals.  Fortunately I am not the only one dreaming of a more beautiful, more fertile world.  I am honoured for the companions, friends, teachers, and students along my path.  And you dear reader, I hope you will find a thread of inspiration and connection on this site that will enliven your path.

My husband, Alan Watson Featherstone has been advocating for a common task, a common purpose uniting all of us in the 21st century, in this time of climate crisis.  He calls this common task Restoring our Earth.  What if we indeed make this our first priority as related people, past the UN 17 points of sustainable development goals?  What if we each found our way to connect with mother Gaia and to our own unique genius to contribute to restoring our planet?

I am aware that we appear to be living in a time when the divide between governments and their people, and factions of people is ever wider.  Amy Goodman and Denis Moynihan write in their report from Baku COP 29 (Conference of Parties 29th year) : “Global petroleum production and consumption are at an all-time high, while 2024 is set to be the hottest year on record, trumping last year’s record heat. Science tells us that the worst impacts of the climate emergency still can be avoided, if urgent and ambitious action is taken.”

What are your urgent and ambitious actions, for your life, for our world?

Here is a list of a few of my ambitious actions, for me, for our world:
  • Tending to Trees for Hope’s work and purposes.
  • Facilitating Rewilding Workshops, helping our participants to realise their rewilding projects.
  • Helping us to ‘see’ and ‘relate to’ the intelligence of the written Chinese Characters ~ a treasure house of perception and wisdom.
  • Making my ‘ensouled glass’ art work to inspire you to ‘ensoul’ your life.  I also want to show you that anyone could have means of earning an income with their own creative resources.
This website holds space for me to share my work with you and for you to find the threads helping you to navigate to find your soul's gifts to enliven your life and to restore our planet.

Landscapes of Mind, Ensouled Glass, 2023

Picture
there is no road ahead
we make the road as we go
the clue of the beginning is more often
not discovered until near the end
maybe the journey is not so much
a journey ahead
but a journey into presence
the furthest place on earth is
the journey into the presence
of the person
nearest to you.

About Hope

"What gives you hope Dr. Qumsiye?  Where is the source you draw from to keep going?"  I asked the founder of the Palestine Natural History Museum in Bethlehem.  The time was November 2024, the place Inverness, Scotland.
"If we don't keep hope alive, we have to give in to despair.  That is a choice we cannot afford.  I cannot tell the children in Palestine that there is no hope for them.  Our faith in humanity, in our future is our hope."
He put me in touch with the source of life, with the reason I am born here, living this life.  Even though clouds of despair cross over my heart on witnessing the destruction of life in our world, Dr. Mazin Qumsiye's words come to mind.  I cannot afford not to have hope.

Take a moment to gaze at this character. It stands for 'heart.'
This is the key to your personal power to make a difference for our  world.

Would you Become My Patron?

I am looking for a different kind of employment.  I would like to be employed by you.  I will be responsible to develop the aims I have stated here to raise the charity Trees for Hope, to help us see the intelligence of the Chinese Characters, thereby increasing the connectivity of the Western and the Eastern minds.  I will be making 'ensouled glass' to tell visual stories of our soul journeys.

I'll be posting on the Patreon page regularly to share the progress of my work.  I'll be most grateful for you to support me both financially and morally on my path to realise my purposes.
Yes, I'll be Pupak's Patron
