Sacred body
Esalen massage

Esalen  massage

I've become an Esalen Massage practitioner quite by chance.  'The way of the Body'  became a path of life for me because of suffering from frozen shoulders.  It was my response to helping myself.  I received the training with my excellent teachers Perry and Johanna Holloman (deepbodywork.com) at Findhorn Foundation. Since 2017 I've been practising giving Esalen Massage and deepening in the beautiful path of mind/body/spirit integration and wholeness.  Now that I cast my mind back over the path of my life, I can see that my training had begun long before I enrolled on the Esalen Massage course.  In my practice I integrate my understanding of the archetypes, as I know them from the Law of One and my twenty five years of apprenticeship with Love/Light Research.  I draw insight from my training with Marion Woodman at Schumacher College and the significance of dream symbology.  My training with my beloved teachers Nancy Melon and Ashley Ramsden on the Body Eloquence had been a preparation to know the language of the body from the vast resource of the story world.  I was gifted a set of cards on Sacred Body Sites by my dear guide and teacher Stephanie Mines and have been learning about and integrating the TARA approach in my practice.  I am most blessed to be learning and practising with my dear yoga teacher, Louise Simmons.  Her classes are not just about Scaraveli inspired yoga, but about a way of life to live in a deeply connected way in my body.  Often, after a yoga class with Louise, I feel like a bird, free, and light.  You could say I have been coming home to my body to know the joy of my spine, and every joint, awakened, breathing like a tree.  So the path of being a massage practitioner has come to me as gifts from many directions.

Often in my practice, when I touch the body of my clients, and see the beauty and sacredness of our bodies, I wonder, if we truly learned to touch ourselves and one another with the intention to be whole and radiant, we could mend our broken world, in such gentle and magnificent ways.  I send out a prayer from my heart that we learn and share the art of touching ourselves, and the world in a sacred way to heal what is broken, to love what is rejected, to embrace and unify all parts.

Most profoundly relaxing massage I have had for a long time; completely spaced out.  Pupak has a very strong confident touch.  Her flow is exceptional and she has a really strong healing energy.  I felt in such safe hands I could relax far more deeply than usual.

Beautiful and calm massage space. It was a deeply relaxing and nourishing massage where I felt safe, supported, encouraged.  Strong feeling that it was much more than a physical practice, but given with love and tenderness to invigorate and heal on the emotional and spiritual levels.  Felt firm but not too hard - just right.  Feeling much gratitude.

Pupak is very thorough and present; takes time to explain, listens, and keeps on checking during the massage; good contact through the hands.  The massage was shaped by what I had told her before.  I felt very safe and listened to.  Felt this was more a healing than recreational massage.  Thank you very much.

∞ bodies of light

I've been thinking, how could we have a health-care system, at a village level that could cover the wellbeing of its inhabitants?  My response to this question, is that we need increased awareness and practice of healthy living.  We also need increased connections and commitments to each other to maintain the 'path of health and happiness.'  Since I live in Findhorn Ecovillage for most of the year, I decided to offer my commitment to 15 friends to be available and interested in their optimal wellbeing.  I call these friends my 15 Bodies of Light.  I think if more and more of us committed to our community members and be available for their well being, while we increase our education and training to be wellbeing practitioners, we could have a sound and kind health-care system to cover all the inhabitants of a community.

Know then first, the mind and then the body.  Then as the spirit is integrated and synthesised into a mind/body/spirit complex which can move among the dimensions and which can open the gateway to intelligent infinity, thus healing self by light and sharing that light with others.

True healing is simply the radiance of the self causing an environment in which a catalyst may occur which initiates the recognition of self, by self, of the self-healing properties of the self.
